Making Contact

When you are ready, make contact with me by email. I aim to reply within 24 hours to arrange your free first appointment.

This consultation is your opportunity to consider working with me, to identify your main areas of focus and for me to consider whether I am best placed to work with you. Rarely, when appropriate, I will refer you elsewhere but will explain this to you fully.

There is no obligation on you to commit to therapy with me at this appointment. I will encourage you to reflect on the experience and to make contact again when you have taken your decision. If there is a waiting list, I will let you know how long you may have to wait until we can start.

The fee is £60 daytime (before 1800) and £70 evenings for a weekly 50-minute appointment with concessions for clients in receipt of benefit so please have your documentation available.  I am also registered with some insurance companies, so can offer a limited number of insurance-funded therapy appointments. Let me know if you have health insurance.

Since Covid restrictions began in 2020, I began working securely online. While it is a different experience from being in the room together, online work is effective therapy and arguably is more accessible for some clients as we can work together wherever you live in the UK. You do need an internet connection and a private space for the duration of the online meeting.

Now it is permitted again, I also offer safe offline therapy - in the room together - as well as continuing to work online. I work at The Practice Rooms in central Cheltenham and also have a therapy room in Woodmancote, three miles north of Cheltenham. I welcome your enquiry whether you are local and want to work with me in person, or if you prefer to work online, especially if you live further afield in the UK.

I look forward to hearing from you,
